Golf unlike a lot of other sports is difficult to master even for the most talented athlete. Whilst your enthusiasm and courage
will go a long way to becoming a better golfer, it will only take you so far. The good news if you take the right steps to getting your game right before you rush onto
the course you can become a very proficient golfer. A good coach can see things from a different perspective and they are trained to understand every element of the golf
swing.
SWS Sisters Who Swing Golf Association, is the Premier Women's golf association in the DMV who believe in mentoring in golf today for our junior golfers of tomorrow with
golf skills and youth development life skills clinics. Golf
is the vehicle in our program for higher education and scholarship awards.
Our Mission
To impact the lives of youth by introducing the game of golf and together provide opportunities that build confidence, promote healthy choices that will instill
life-enhancing values having golf as the common platform.
All golfers whether they are beginners or a professional can benefit from golf lessons. SWSJG golf professionals develop and work
numerous programs as they teach, but also have the ability to
adapt to a learning style for each golfer.
Golf is all about having fun. While we teach the techniques of playing golf, we also coach to inspire, motivate and perpetuate a
love and passion for the game.
Once a golfer plays golf on a regular basis it is likely they will be ready to play on a team or in tournaments, leagues or charity events. Sometimes a golfer will play in tournaments before they
are ready and they become discouraged.
TOURNAMENT GOLF involves on course strategy, learning trouble shots, learning how to deal with your emotions and the emotions of others as well
as several other aspects that you don t think about until you are in the competitive environment of the event.
TEACH - PLAY and EXPOSE is the motto of the SWSJG golf professionals.
